  • 3 tbsp. cocoa powder

This chai tea recipe will have you raiding your spice cabinet over and over this winter. Not only is this a tasty beverage, but it will fill your home with a sweet scent. The lack of sugar will also ensure your smile stays healthy.

  • 1 tbsp. ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. ground cardamom
  • 1 ½ tsp. ground ginger
  • 1 tsp. allspice
  • Just a pinch of nutmeg
  • 2 black tea bags
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp. pure stevia

In a medium saucepan, bring all ingredients to a rolling boil. Remove mixture from the heat and allow it to steep for 10 minutes. Using a sieve to strain the chai, pour into a mug and enjoy!

Hot Cocoa

This last recipe is a throwback to everyone’s childhood. Traditional hot cocoa is loaded with sugar, which can cause problems for your teeth. Our remixed version is just as cozy, but it can help you leave all the cavities behind. Use this recipe to start new traditions with your family.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 5 drops liquid stevia
  • ¼ tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan. While it’s heating, whisk ingredients until mixture is the desired temperature and the texture is smooth. Pour into a mug and sip in front of the fire or while binge-watching your favorite show.
