Your cavity filling procedure should only take one visit to our office. Before we begin, we pick out a filling shade that matches the color of your other teeth. Then, we thoroughly numb the area so the most you’ll feel is slight pressure while we work. Once the area is numb, we remove the decay and clean your tooth. After, we’ll apply the filling to the damaged area of the tooth and cure it with a blue light. When your filling is in place, Dr. Chittajallu will ask you to bite down to make sure it feels comfortable and doesn't affect the way your upper and lower teeth fit together.
